The lambs born in April are now very settled on the fells. However they remain with their mothers, never straying far from their sides and will still suckle. This can be clearly seen if you walk onto the Cumbrian fells. Look for the mother/offspring pairs that characterise the upland fells. The pictures here were taken from the slopes of Hen Cloud, a neighboring farm to Tarn House.
